INDORE: The slowdown in global economy coupled with a falling rupee has left the businessmen and local traders a worried lot. Normally hard-pressed for time, these entrepreneurs are now investing time for relieving stress through aerobics, yoga, Zumba dancing. These measures help in burning the additional calories.
As the trend gets popular among the businessmen, corporate trainers are arranging special sessions for these clients.

Jaya Bhawsar, a celebrity manager said, "Yoga provides fresh energy to my mind, body and soul to work effectively."
A local entrepreneur, Sunny Dharmeja, who runs an oil paint industry, said, "These activities give me relief from the stress. The gym workouts increase the motivational level at work and I am able to concentrate better on my business."
A corporate trainer, Monica Anand said that she was hired by a closed manufacturing unit to give stress-relieving sessions for their employees. She added that a host of such offers were now coming forth.
Praveen Patel, a local car dealer, admitted that the business was dull and hence he was planning to use his time to relax himself. Seconding his opinion, city-based industrialist-turned-social activist, Dr Anil Bhandari, who had organised a session by corporate guru Pawan Chaudhry, in the city last month for the hospital industryon the theme 'Growing while slowing'

, said, "In the session we tried to tell participants how they can grow in the existing difficult times by cutting their budget on infrastructure."
A gym trainer, Pritesh Parmar, said, "We've especially designed activities for corporate honchos. The idea is to provide stress busting techniques by keeping their blood pressure under control and make them free of ailments like hypertension and anxiety."
An author of an affirmation CD narrating daily affirmations by Louise Hay (the author of the book 'You can heal your life), Raageshwari Loomba, says, "An affirmation instantly shifts your emotional quotient. Remember that we can only perform to our best ability when we are in a place where we feel safe and inspired. An affirmation easily takes you there."
A yoga trainer, Dr Rita Sharma, said, "Women entrepreneurs are joining my classes to free themselves from various kinds of stress they are passing through." City-based Zumba trainer of American origin, Amy Chasteen, said, "My classes have helped a lot of my students hailing from business families to have a positive attitude towards life in the given market scenario."
