Illegally stocked liquor seized from house in Dhar village

Mhow: Sardarpur police seized illegally stocked liquor from a house in Talawpada village, about 15 km from Sardarpur town in Dhar district, on Sunday early morning.Sub-inspector Naval Singh Baghel, told TOI that a team was sent to the house after receving a tip-off. The team reached the village after midnight and raided the house during pre-dawn hours. Eleven boxes containing cans of beer were recovered from the courtyard of the house. A total of 132 litre liquor worth Rs 30,360 was seized.
Following the seizure, the house owner, 35-year-old Mannu, was arrested and booked under relevant section of the Excise Act.
