Indore: Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I), on Saturday held its graduation ceremony for Executive Management Programme -Master of Management Studies (MMS) and the Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management), marking the passing out of the first MMS batch.A total of 135 students were awarded degrees, including 73 participants from the MMS programme and 62 from the BA (Foundations of Management). The ceremony was attended by director Himanshu Rai, faculty members and staff.Addressing the graduating cohort, Rai said, "The world today is increasingly BANI: brittle, anxious, nonlinear and incomprehensible. In such a reality, you must respond with bravery, adaptability, networking and introspection to navigate uncertainty and lead with resilience."Officials said the graduation of the first MMS batch marks a key milestone in the institute's academic expansion, particularly in executive and undergraduate-linked programmes. The institute has been steadily diversifying its offerings to cater to emerging industry and leadership requirements.The ceremony was also attended by EMP-MMS chair Nishit Sinha and IPM chair Aditya Maheshwari along with other faculty members. The event marked both the academic achievement of students and the institute's push towards strengthening interdisciplinary and flexible learning programmes.
