Heist in plain sight: 4 women steal 1 kg silver in bold theft

Indore: A group of 4 women allegedly pulled off a carefully planned theft at a jewellery shop in Garoth's Sadar Bazaar on Monday evening, escaping with a box containing about 1 kg of silver without raising immediate suspicion.The incident took place between 5 pm and 6 pm at Swastik Jewellers. Shop owner Suresh Soni said the women entered the store pretending to sell silver ornaments. While engaging the shop staff in conversation, they allegedly distracted them and quietly stole a box filled with silver kept inside the shop. Police urged shopkeepers to install CCTV cameras and stay alert to suspicious behaviour to prevent similar crimes. TNN
