INDORE: Two groups clashed after a dispute over clicking pictures, while sitting on a horse in Dhar, late on Friday.

The incident was reported at Nisarpur outpost when a man Kanhaiyya and his friend, both residents of Ganpur village, had gone to participate in a wedding function in Narmada Nagar. They were sitting on a horse and clicking pictures for fun in front of the house of one Dheeraj Pandit when he made some comments on the duo. Another person, Chhogalal, made caste remarks at them. This escalated into a verbal spat between two groups and they started attacking one another. Since the marriage function was on family members intervened and stopped the fight between the groups.

Later, however, when Kanhaiyya was returning home with his friend, the duo was attacked by a group of men, who also vandalized four-wheelers parked in the area. Two more persons, Golu and Rahul, were also injured in the attack and on their complaint, a case was registered against Chhogalal, Gendalal, Devi Singh and Amrit for violence and under SC/ST Act.

Nisarpur police outpost in-charge Brijesh Kumar Malviya said that a team was rushed to the spot soon after the incident and the situation was controlled. The accused have been arrested.
