Gang war: Man stabbed to death over old enmity

Indore: A man was allegedly stabbed to death in Heera Nagar area over an old enmity on Tuesday evening.Heera Nagar police said, the victim, Nikhil Khalse, was standing at a two-wheeler showroom near an overhead water tank of Maruti Nagar when a group of miscreants attacked on him around 7pm with sharp-edged weapon and left him in a pool of blood.“An old enmity between the victim and the accused is the reason behind the murder,” DCP Dharmendra Bhadoriya said.“It has come to fore that in 2021, two persons — Arpit Khate and Gaurav Mishra — were killed in Banganga area allegedly by Mangesh Sapolkar, Rahul Waskale, Suraj Thakur and Vishnu Bhadoria. All the accused of 2021 double-murder case are presently in jail. The accused of today’s murder case identified as Chirag, Lalu, Aryan, Harsh and two other persons were in view that Nikhil was supporting Mangesh and his accompanies in getting bail. So, they killed him,” the DCP added. Bhadoriya said that afew accused have some cases of crime registered against them. Officials had come across some posts of the accused on social-media platforms mentioning revenge. “We are examining the posts,” he said. tnn
