Drug peddler arrested in Ujjain

UJJAIN: The Central Bureau of Narcotics (ministry of Finance, GOI) with assistance of Ujjain police on Thursday arrested a couple here and recovered handsome quantity of brown sugar and its material from their possession besides Rs 51000 cash.
According to sources, the sleuths raided the house of Mohammad Alam in Begambag area and recovered brown sugar tablets weighing 160 grams, 660 grams of semi solid heroine and rs 51000 cash.
Price of seized drug in international market is said to be over rs 1 crore.
CBN superintendent Mukesh Khatri said the arrested couple was indulged in selling the intoxicants to local addicts and also at Indore.
Mohammad's wife Nazma was also arrested.
