The varsity has already commenced with the back-end process and all the data has been kept ready for the upload.

“A company of central India with the help of MP Online will be doing the uploading work. Barkatullah University, Bhopal has been made nodal centre in central India for DigiLocker,” vice-chancellor Dr Renu Jain told TOI.

At present, a format in accordance of National Education Policy (NEP) hasn’t been approved owing to some extra columns for marks and it will be done by Barkatullah University, she added.

As soon as it gets done, DAVV will first upload NEP results and it will be followed by the results of students prior to NEP. All the data of DAVV has been prepared and as soon as the format is approved, the varsity will upload the results of the students and other official documents, said Jain.

Last year, directorate of higher education had instructed state universities and colleges both government and private higher educational institutions to complete the process of making DigiLocker account. Furthermore, it had also extended the deadlines to fill the details for the DigiLocker multiple times.

DAVV had already registered for the NAD DigiLocker last year. However, the process was not completed.

NAD DigiLocker is like a digitalized bank locker, which is used to store all academic credits, certificates, diplomas, degrees, mark-sheets virtually. Moreover, NAD not only ensures easy access to and retrieval of an academic award, but also validates its authenticity and safe storage.
