Indore: After Neemuch and Mandsaur, unseasonal rains accompanied with hailstorm reported on Thursday evening has damaged ready to be harvested crops in different parts of Indore district.

, Sanwer and other assembly constituencies where unseasonal rains accompanied with hailstorm has caused damage in the farms to compensate the affected farmers.
In Mandsaur, collector Gautam Singh along with senior administrative and police officials visited different areas where crop loss has been reported due to the hailstorm reported on March 8-9. “It’s too early to guess the crop loss reported due to hailstorm” Singh said, adding that he has visited some farms, where huge damage to ready to be harvested crops have been reported and the same is also evident in the visual assessment.
“The field teams will carry out a survey of the crop loss with the affected farmers, which is expected to take the next two-three days” the collector said.
In Neemuch, visual assessment carried out by local administration has estimated 10-50% loss to Wheat, Isabgol,
