Cops arrest man for stabbing electrician

Indore: Gandhi Nagar police arrested the accused involved in stabbing of 19-year-old electrician. Police said that the electrician was trying to threaten two persons to change their statements in an old stabbing case and had brought a knife. The accused used his own knife and stabbed him before fleeing.
Gandhi Nagar police station in-charge Rameshchandra Bhaskar said that two years ago, Ayush, son of Lakhan Swami, had fought with Karan, son of Santosh, in which Ayush had stabbed Karan.A case was registered against him. In the past few days, Ayush was forcing Karan and his friend Kartik to change their statements in court hearing. He had called them to strike a compromise when a dispute broke out between them. Ayush pulled out a knife from his pocket following which Karan and Kartik attacked him by snatching the knife from him.
The video of over half-a-dozen accused chasing the victim Aayush and stabbing him had gone viral on social media. The victim succumbed to injuries late on Monday at a private hospital. Police said that all the accused and the victim are residents or IDA building. TNN
