INDORE: A day after CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan pulled a handcart to collect items/donation for Anganwadi children and sought public support also to help eradicating malnourishment, the opposition Congress party’s leaders on Wednesday staged a protest with a handcart demanding employment while they also alleged scarcity of electricity and other basic amenities in Anganwadi centers.

Congress leaders including Girish Joshi and

Vivek Khandelwal

staged ‘Berozgari Thela’ just outside Devi Ahilya

Vishwavidyalaya Campus

at RNT

Marg

and collected the degrees (photocopies) of youths as their medium to register protest over increasing unemployment.

“We pulled a handcart to collect youth’s degrees just like the Chief Minister collected toys for kids. The degrees will be sent to the CM for waking him up from the slumber and to act against increasing unemployment in the state” they said. TNN
