Cleanliness drive ahead of Gaurav Divas celebration

Indore: As the countdown for Indore Gaurav Divas to be celebrated on May 31 begins, a cleanliness drive was carried out by district’s administrative officials on Sunday. Indore collector Dr Ilayaraja T and other senior officials including additional collector, deputy collector, tehsildars and other officials cleaned the collectorate. Officials along with the sanitation workers collected waste plastic, pouches, garbage and litters from the premises of the collectorate office. Collector and other senior officials also had breakfast with sanitation workers and talked about their life experiences. Blood donation camps will be organized at 30 locations in the city on Monday. The administration has set a target to collect more than 14,000 units of blood. These camps will be organized by trade and industry associations, academic institutes and social organisations among others.
