Knowing about the drive, candidates from far-off cities including Gwalior, Jabalpur, Jhansi thronged the placement drive site. Seeing the unexpected crowd, college management had to call police for managing the large mob. “We did not expect students turning out in such a large number. We have arranged facilities for limited students. But, overall it was a win-win situation for candidates and companies,” said Kavita Kasliwal of the college.
With such a large number of companies gathering at a single platform for a day to hire candidates with traditional course qualification including BA, BCom, BSc degree, students reported in large number. Companies that were initially planning to offer 500 jobs offered roles to nearly 2500 candidates.
