INDORE: Suicidal attempt by teenagers students in the city is increasing, that too for petty issues. On Thursday only, two students end their lives.
In first incident, a 16-year-old Vyom Jain, son of Vasant Jain committed suicide by hanging himself. He was the student of class XII.
Police said that Vyom committed suicide by hanging himself on Wednesday when his parents were at their shop.
They are the resident of Rambag.
In the night when they returned from shop, they knocked the door but did not get any response. They entered in the house from back door and found their son hanging. They immediately called neighbours and brought the body down. They rushed to MY Hospital where the body was declared brought dead.
According to police, Vyom was single brother among four siblings and his all elder sisters have been married. Vyom had some dispute with his friend over a book and he was depressed.
In second incident, a 17-year-old Shubham Yadav, son of Ashok Yadav found dead on his bed. Police found dupatta lying near his body and inferred it as a case of suicide. Shubham was the student of B Com and was resident of Ram Nagar.
Investigating Officer Amar Singh said that his father went to work somewhere and his mother was also out of the house. When she return home, she found her son sleeping on the bed. She tried to awake him but he did not respond to her call.
Subsequently, they called neighbours and rushed to hospital where he declared brought dead. He said that family members are unable to confirm whether it was suicide or not but a duppata has been found near his body which shows that he committed suicide.
Police sent both bodies to hospital for post-mortem.
