Boy killed by speeding bus

A class 9th student was killed allegedly after being hit by a passenger bus on a railway overbridge of the bus stand area of Khandwa district on Tuesday morning, the police said.

Indore: A class 9th student was killed allegedly after being hit by a passenger bus on a railway overbridge of the bus stand area of Khandwa district on Tuesday morning, the police said.
The victim, identified as Krishna Gangrade (15), a resident of Gaushala Road, was on his way to home after playing cricket at Civil Line Stadium, when the bicycle he was riding on, was hit by a speeding passenger bus trying to overtake him.

“The boy fell down on the road along with the bicycle and came under one of the rear-wheels of the bus,” Kotwali police station in-charge Baljeet Singh Bisen said, while adding that he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought-dead. TNN
