Body of missing Katni man found in Ratlam

Indore: Body of a 30-year-old man from Katni, who was missing for past 12 days, was found in a waterbody in Ratlam on Tuesday.
The deceased, identified as Shubham Tiwari, was found at Dholawad Dam in Ratlam. Ratlam police traced his family through a mobile phone recovered from him. On Thursday morning, his relatives arrived in Ratlam for identification, following which a postmortem examination was conducted and body sent to Katni by ambulance. According to his family, Shubham was engaged and his wedding was set for Feb 20, the day his body reached home.
Shubham's father, Manoj Tiwari, said that his son worked as an engineer in Katni. On Feb 8, he left home without informing anyone, prompting his family to file a missing person's report. He was last sighted in a CCTV at a petrol pump in Katni. Police are now awaiting the postmortem examination report to determine the cause of death.
