INDORE: In election season, coming across posters and banners of political parties is a norm. But in Barwaha assembly constituency, banners and posters put up by residents, venting their ire against political leaders for letting them down greet you in many areas of dusty town. The residents of area are angry with leaders to such an extent that they are urging contestants not to come to their village for seeking votes.

Residents of the area are planning to give a befitting reply by pressing NOTA button on November 25.
Posters have slogans like "Jago neta jago, sare kaam chhod do, sabse pehle road do," and "Vikas nahi to vote nahi."
Dissatisfied with civic amenities in the area, residents expressed anger over poor living conditions with a slogan "Yaha janwar nahi insan rahte hai, vote mang kar sharminda na karen."
Social activist Ashok Kumar said resident of the area have decided to press NOTA button. Residents of the area are facing problem of bad road, sewerage, water and street light for long and despite repeated complaint with local bodies, no one bothered to redress their problems. So, this time they are up in arm against political leaders.
Santosh Jain, a resident of Godam Road, said residents of the area has formed a Ekta Vikas Samiti and they are ready to teach leaders lesson in this election. For many years, we are only getting promises during election and after winning election, leaders do not show us face for next five years. "Now we will not put up with this injustice and we do not want leaders of political parties to come here," he said
