INDORE: Last day of Young Round Square Conference at The Emerald Heights International School focused on bridging the gap between the normal school students and special children. Delegates from 16 schools from India and Bangladesh visited a deaf and dumb school at Gumashta Nagar for community service. Students learnt the sign language from the teachers at the special school to interact with the students.

Inderveer Singh Oberoi from The Doon School, Dehradun, said “It was a good experience in Indore. I developed friendship with many students from different schools. The conference helped us boost our leadership qualities and enhance confidence.”
“We never felt far away from home when in Indore.I am going to miss the place and time spent here,” said another student Sara Diba Hossain from Chittagong Grammar School, Bangladesh.
Students were later taken for Indore Darshan. They visited historical monuments like Lalbagh, Rajwada and Krishnapura chattris. Students also presented street plays on the event. The event ended with dinner at principal Sidharth Singh’s residence.
