MPPSC holds back 548 slots in SET-2022, aspirants lose chance to apply for AP-2022
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) withheld the results for 548 slots in the State Eligibility Test-2022, which affected candidates' ability to apply for the Assistant Professor-2022 examination. The commission has announced the results for 34 subjects, declaring over 4072 candidates as qualified for 3675 slots in the main list. However, the results for the remaining 548 slots were not released. The commission determines the slots based on the number of candidates applying for the SET examinations and those who pass. The candidates aspiring for Assistant Professor need to qualify either the National Eligibility Test or SET for their respective subjects. This decision to withhold the results for the 548 slots cost many candidates the opportunity to apply for the advertised 2053 posts in those 34 subjects after a gap of five years.
