Indore: A 25-year-old man whose naked body was found under a culvert near Ralamandal forest area in Tejaji Nagar was murdered after a minor dispute. Police arrested six persons in the case on Saturday.
Police said that the body was found on Feb 12 near Ralamandal forest office, prompting suspicion of foul play. A case was registered and a special investigation team was formed.

ACP Ravindra Bilwal said that the deceased was identified as Rensingh Barela, 25, a resident of village Tillor with roots in Hasanapur of Guna district. During the probe, CCTV footage showed an auto rickshaw and a scooter heading towards the crime scene around 2 am.
Based on technical inputs and field evidence, police tracked down the suspects and detained them for questioning.
Investigators said that the accused confessed that a minor altercation escalated into a violent assault, leading to Barela's death. In an attempt to destroy evidence, they transported the body in an auto rickshaw and dumped it under the culvert. Police seized sticks allegedly used in the attack, along with the auto rickshaw, a scooter, and a vehicle linked to the crime.
