50-yr-old with mental issues accused of killing friend

Indore: A man aged around 50, battling mental issues, allegedly beat a friend to death in Rani Singh village in Raltam district on Saturday morning after a dispute over smoking, police said.
The deceased, identified as Bhanwar Singh, 50, was killed between 4am and 5am on Saturday, police said.
In the morning, Singh went to the road along with his friend Suresh Joshi, police said.Singh began smoking beedi causing irritation to accused, and he beat Singh with a babul stick on his head injuring him severely, police said.
Singh fell on ground because of the attack and the accused hit him with a stone, killing him, police said. Rawati police station in-charge DS Dasuria said, “The accused has an unstable mind.”
