30 held for gambling

Indore: The police arrested 30 persons on charges of gambling at a rented house in Ratlam’s Pratap Nagar area and seized 31 mobiles phones, cards and Rs 2.50 lakh in cash. The operation was conducted the raid following a tip-off received by Station Road police from an informer and caught the accused persons red-handed from the spot, police said. Station road police station in-charge Kishore Patanwal said, “The police acting on a tip-off raided the spot to catch the accused red handed. As many as 30 people were found playing cards in a rented property in the area.”
