3-year-old girl succumbs to burn injuries in Indore

INDORE: A three-year-old girl succumbed to her burn injuries under mysterious conditions at a private hospital in Annapurna area of Indore, police said.

The girl had sustained burn injuries on January 22 and was rushed to the private hospital where she died at 2am, police said.

Police said they received information about the death from the hospital on Saturday late night. Acting on the information, they recorded the death and began investigations, police said.

Annapurna police station incharge Gopal Parmar told TOI, “Police recorded the death after getting information about the incident only on Saturday late night. The police death is suspicious and is under investigation.”

“Let the investigation unfold the mystery behind death,” said Parmar.
