24-year-old married woman dies by suicide

Indore: A 24-year-old woman died by suicide at her home in the Banganga area late on Saturday night. She was found unconscious by her husband early on Sunday morning and was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.Police said the incident came to light around 4am when her husband, Deepesh Verma, woke up. He immediately informed family and rushed the woman, Pooja Verma, to MY Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. Pooja's maternal home is in Uttar Pradesh and her family has been informed. Authorities said the postmortem will be conducted once her family arrives in Indore.Deepesh, who runs an egg stall, told investigators that he and Pooja ate dinner together around 12:30am and went to sleep after chatting for a while. Around 4am, he discovered her unconscious in their room. The couple was married for five years but did not have children. Their marriage was arranged with mutual consent and both knew each other before tying the knot.At the time of the incident, other family members, including Deepesh's elder brother, sister-in-law, their children, and his father, were present in the house. Deepesh and Pooja stayed in a separate room.Police officials said they will conduct a detailed investigation into the matter to ascertain the reason behind the suicide.
