INDORE: Posting an impressive performance, 16 students from Indore cracked entrance test of prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), the results of which were declared on Wednesday evening. This was the best ever show by students of Indore so far. Anagha Puntambekar secured 129th all-India rank (AIR) thus topping from the city followed by Sejal Jain who stood 171.
Anagha, a daughter of a scientist in RR CAT Avinash Puntambekar, wants to become a cardiologist while Sejal, daughter of an architect and real estate developer Prafull Jain, has cleared the entrance tests in her first attempt. She had appeared for four pre-medical entrance tests, including AIIMS, AIPMT, Manipal and JIPMER MBBS and cleared all four.
Other students, who cleared entrance examination, include Rakshit Agrawal (574), Samyak Kucheria (636), Suyash Singh Rathod (715), Apurva Maheshwari (874), Naman Jain (1169), Aishwarya Jain (1298), Rakesh Kumar (1671), Ankit Singh Lodhi (2178), Anas Khureshi (2185), Anil Kumar Singh (4346), Rajwardhan Bhawar (4715) and Vashudev Dehria (6482).
