IMPHAL: Security forces seized six rockets in Churachandpur district, Manipur, during search operations, police said on Wednesday
The security forces recovered multiple items on Tuesday from the Loilamkot and Nalon area under Henglep police station's jurisdiction, including six rockets with a launcher, one indigenous mortar (Pompi), one 7.62 mm sniper round and sniper magazine, along with additional materials.
On Tuesday, authorities apprehended two members of the banned KCP (PWG) from Morok Inkhol village in Imphal East District.
According to police, these people were accused of extorting money from civilians, government workers, and local businesses across various parts of Imphal.
The authorities confiscated one 9 mm pistol with magazine and seven 9 mm live rounds from them.
