Youth Congress panel to be constituted soon

vijayawada: state youth congress president t venkata rao on wednesday said a new committee of the youth congress will be constituted in two months. addressing a press conference here, venkata rao said only persons below 35 years of age would be appointed to the committee.the district committees of the youth congress too would be constituted in a couple of months.only sincere and dedicated party workers would find a place in the new committees, he asserted. venkata rao said he would strive to strengthen the youth congress in the state by infusing new blood into the party. replying to a question, he said the resignation of guntur district youth congress president l appi reddy was accepted. appi reddy resigned recently in the wake of reports of his imminent replacement. ironically, venkata rao is a junior to appi reddy in the youth congress. venkata rao arrived to a rousing reception in the city in the wee hours of wednesday. after meeting local congress leaders, he drove in a huge convoy of over 200 cars from the krishnaveni motel to guntur, his home town.
