While the districts, including Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, Jagtial, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Sangareddy, Medak, Siddipet, and Sircilla are likely to receive moderate to heavy rainfall, several areas under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits are expected to experience light to moderate rainfall on Friday

The yellow alert has been triggered by the influence of a low-pressure system over southeast Jharkhand and neighboring areas, accompanied by cyclonic circulation. On Thursday, several areas in North Telangana also saw heavy rainfall, with Sirpur and Kouthala in Asifabad receiving 113.8 mm and 101.5mm rain respectively.
