Woman protests at husband's house

HYDERABAD: A woman staged protest in front of her USA-settled husband's house for deserting her at Vaidehinagar in Vanasthalipuram on Friday.
Vanasthalipuram police said that Srilatha, who hails from Nalgonda district, got married to software engineer Madhukar in 2014 and for some time the couple stayed in USA. A year ago, they came to Hyderabad and Madhukar told Srilatha that he would return to USA first and arrange visa for her return some time later.But since going to USA, he had been maintaining distance from Srilatha. Srilatha alleged that Madhukar had demanded money from her in the past.
