HYDERABAD: A woman lecturer of a private junior college, who suffered losses after investing money in stock market, committed suicide by jumping in front of a train between Jamia Osmania and Vidyanagar stations on Saturday morning. Government Railway Police said that Manasa Sushma, 34, wife of Kalyan Chakravarthy, a software engineer, reportedly pledged 50 tolas of gold and invested the money in stock exchange.
As she suffered huge loss, Sushma committed suicide.
The incident took place around 8.30 am. Based on her belongings, she was identified and the family members were informed.
