Home guard G Vignesh had stopped accused Sri Latha, driving a Jaguar, from taking a U-turn at the Agrasen Island as it was not allowed. He instead asked her to take the U-turn provided near the cancer hospital ahead while pointing out that turning at Agrasen Island would lead to a traffic snarl.

"For half an hour she kept her car parked in the middle of the road causing inconvenience to others. She also picked up an argument with the home guard and made objectionable statements," said Rakesh Reddy, SI (traffic), Banjara Hills.

When home guard Vignesh started to record it on his phone, she got annoyed and allegedly snatched his phone and banged it against the ground.

Later, she grabbed his reflective jacket and damaged it," the SI added.

She later drove away from the spot in her Jaguar.

Banjara Hills inspector K M Raghavendra said that Srilatha was yet to be summoned for questioning.
