Woman commits suicide over alleged insult

HYDERABAD: A 22-year-old woman working in a prominent healthcare company committed suicide at Malkajgiri on Thursday night after one of her colleagues allegedly misbehaved with her. Malkajgiri police said that Srilatha committed suicide at her home when her family members were absent by hanging herself to the ceiling.
Police said that while Srilatha was in using the lift in her office at Prakash Nagar in Begumpet, Vijay Rao, a colleague allegedly misbehaved with her."Srilatha was disturbed after the incident and informed her family members. She came back to her residence and in the absence of her family members she
hanged herself using chunni," police said.
In another case, an outsourcing employee of Gandhi Hospital committed suicide by consuming poison. Renuka, 24, was dejected as her marriage was cancelled. She committed suicide at her residence at Chintal Basthi.tnn
