Will retain Munugode seat: Telangana Congress MLC T Jeevan Reddy

HYDERABAD: Congress MLC T Jeevan Reddy and MLA D Sridhar Babu on Monday said that the Congress will not only retain the Munugode assembly seat in the bypoll but also surpass its majority in 2018. “Why should people vote for BJP? Is it because the Modi govt shelved the ITIR project for Hyderabad or because they increased the prices of gas, diesel and petrol and levied GST even on food items,” Jeevan Reddy asked.
“Raj Gopal has left a cow-like Congress party and is riding a tiger (BJP). He may probably not be able to step into the house as an elected MLA because Congress is on a strong ground in Munugode, BJP is bound to lose and people have realised that TRS is a sinking ship,” said Reddy.
