Will fight Centre’s attempts: Kavitha

Hyderabad: TRS MLC K Kavitha said that she will fight against the attempts being made by the Centre to privatise SCCL. She held a meeting with minister Koppula Eshwar, MPs M Kavitha, Venkatesh Nethakani and MLAs K Chander and Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy and others over the issue. She said that the state had taken up many welfare schemes for Singareni workers and paid 29% bonus to the works even during the Covid-19 pandemic.“The TRS will oppose auctioning four blocks of SCCL and chalk out a plan for that,” she said. Earlier in the day, she handed over the appointment letter of Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangam (TBGKS) to K Mallaiah at her residence on Friday. TNN
