Warangal: Woman jumps into well with six-month-old baby, both die

WARANGAL: Unable to tolerate the harassment of her husband, a 24-year-old woman died by suicide by jumping into an agricultural well along with her six-month-old baby in Oorugonda village in Damera police station limits.

The incident took place in the wee hours of Friday. The deceased has been identified as a Nimmala Aamani, resident of House Buzurg village of Athmakur Mandal in Hanumakonda district. Her husband hails from House Buzurg village in Hanumakonda, police said.

Damera police SI P Hari Priya said they are suspecting family disputes behind the suicide.
