HYDERABAD: Three workers died when a dilapidated wall collapsed on them at an industrial unit in Cherlapally on Wednesday.
The victims were identified as Jagan, Krishna hailing from Ramantapur and Ravi from Nalgonda. On Wednesday morning, the trio was hired by a scrap vendor Pale Raju, to carry metal scrap into a truck from Sai Krishna industries at the Cherlapally industrial area.

The metal scrap was piled next to the compound wall of Sai Krishna industries. When the workers began clearing the metal scrap, the wall suddenly collapsed on them. Other workers of the factory immediately cleared the debris and rushed them to a nearby hospital where they were declared brought dead, Kushaiguda inspector V Srikanth Goud said.
Police booked a case under section 304-A (causing death due to rash or negligent act) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the contractor. The bodies were sent to Gandhi hospital for post-mortem.
