HYDERABAD: A team of Cyberabad police, who are presently in Salt Lake, West Bengal in connection with the probe into the hacking of cricketer
VVS Laxman's bank account, are expected to bring the alleged culprit to the city on Monday on a transit warrant.
During the interrogation by the police, the suspect reportedly claimed that he was innocent. Laxman who has an account with the Srinagar Colony branch of a nationalized bank often used to do online transactions.
Someone hacked into his email account and sent a message to the bank manager instruction him to transfer Rs 10 lakh to a private bank account.
On knowing that someone illegally transfered money from his account, Laxman through his manager sent a complaint to Cyberabad police.
