Urdu writer Nusrat Moinuddin passes away in Hyderabad

Urdu writer and CPI's minority wing general secretary Nusrat Moinuddin passed away on Thursday following a massive heart attack.He was 68 and is survived by wife and two daughters.

HYDERABAD: Urdu writer and CPI's minority wing general secretary Nusrat Moinuddin passed away on Thursday following a massive heart attack. He was 68 and is survived by wife and two daughters. Moinuddin was the eldest son of CPI visionary and Urdu revolutionary writer Maqdoom Moinuddin. Nusrat worked actively for the protection of wakf properties. He was a core member of the All India Urdu Progressive Writers Association.

The funeral prayers for the deceased will be held at the Public Gardens mosque on Friday afternoon.
