Two held for theft from parked cars
HYDERABAD: Two persons stealing valuables from parked cars for the past several months were arrested by Gachibowli police on Wednesday. The accused are Alamuri Premraj Daniel, 39, of Langar Houz and Akkaladevi Sai Bharath, 21, of Jagadgirigutta. According to police, Daniel had earlier committed thefts in Gachibowli, Raidurgam, Rajendranagar and Golkonda police station limits.

Bharath committed a theft under Kukatpally police station limits.
The duo travel in an unregistered vehicle and zero in on parked cars. They take away valuables using tools to unlock the car door or breaking the glass. The duo had stolen laptops, phones and ornaments in a similar manner. Police seized nine laptops, four mobile phones, one Apple iPad, Aadhaar card, PAN card, hard disk, 128 Saudi Arabian riyals and three gold rings, all worth Rs 10.5 lakh. The duo were booked under Sections 379 (theft) and 427 of IPC.
