Two held for attempt to murder driver

HYDERABAD: Two unknown persons were arrested on Sunday for attempting to kill an auto rickshaw driver near Sheikpet. The Golconda police said that the auto driver was attacked using a stone which damaged his vein and he started bleeding. The locals alerted the police immediately after the incident.
During the investigation, police found out that the auto driver was in drunken condition and he had accidentally bumped into the accused.

The two picked up argument following which the auto driver was attacked. Verification of the CCTV footage revealed that it was not a case of notorious criminals attacking the survivor. A case was registered under section 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC.
In another incident at Bapuji Nagar in Bowenpally, an argument broke out between two groups of relatives, in which one person B Narasimha was attacked two members of the opposite group. Upon seeing the fight, the survivor’s supporters who were in the same lane, came to his rescue but they too were attacked with a blade by the accused.
