The complaints against him were filed by the new management,

Alanda Media

, accusing him of cheating and forgery apart from discreet attempts to disturb the new team.

Ravi Prakash claims that he has 10 per cent share in TV9 Media Group. The group’s old management sold 90 per cent of its stake to the new management. All FIRs against Prakash maintain that he had resorted to unfair methods to block a majority of the stake holders from taking over the company.

He had approached NCLT, Hyderabad, and managed to block the change of management for a few months. First it was a Mauritius company that approached NCLT questioning the change of guard. The firm claimed to have investments in TV9 and sought refund from the old management before the new team took over.

Later, the previos management negotiated with the foreign company and it agreed to allow Alanda to take over, but Ravi Prakash and film actor Sivaji objected to the change in management.

The anticipatory bail plea of Ravi Prakash was dismissed by the Telangana high court last week.
