Telangana Rashtra Samithi MPs suspended for 1 week

HYDERABAD: Rajya Sabha deputy chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh suspended TRS MPs along with other MPs for one week for disrupting the proceedings of the house. MPs Vaddiraju Ravi Chandra, Badugula Lingiah Yadav, D Damodar Rao and other parties’ MPs were among those who were suspended.
The MPs continued their protests against imposition of GST on milk products, inflation and other issues.Speaking to reporters, Ravi Chandra said the MPs were sent out of the house as the government was not ready to face the questions.
