TRS leader booked for obstruction

HYDERABAD: A day after the security breach at the Ganesh idol immersion festivities at Moazzam Jahi Market during Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s visit, Abids police on Saturday registered a suo motu case against TRS leader Nand Kishore Vyas on the charge of causing obstruction.
Police said though they did not receive any complaint from any one seeking action against Nand Kishore, they booked him suo motu.
Nand Kishore came out of nowhere when a member of Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi (BGUS) was speaking from the dais and tried to snatch the mike even as the Assam CM was about to address the gathering at the Ganesh pandal.
However, cops who were present at the spot swung into action and took him away.
