Three die as lorry rams into carrier

Hyderabad: Three persons were killed when a lorry hit their goods carrier at Shadnagar on Saturday.
According to Shadnagar police, the deceased persons were on their way back to Wanaparthy district when the accident occurred.
Shadnagar police blamed the goods carrier driver for driving the vehicle on a wrong route which resulted in the accident at 7.30 am. Its driver P Ashok, 28, mason Ravi, 25, and farmer Shankar, 30, died.
“When Ashok reached Anoos junction in Shadnagar, he took the wrong route and was hit by the lorry coming in the opposite direction,” police said.
Shankar and Ravi went to Hyderabad on Friday to sell their goats by hiring Ashok’s vehicle. Ashok died on the spot, while the other two succumbed while being shifted to a hospital.
Shadnagar police have registered a case under section 304-A (negligence causing death) of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
