HYDERABAD: VVS Laxman's exit from international cricket may not have been the way the star batsman would have envisioned. However, the stylish batsman has enough fans even among his teammates who feel that he deserved a better deal.
On Saturday, Pragyan Ojha, his teammate in the Indian as well as the Hyderabad dressing room, came up with his third five-wicket haul in Test cricket.

The 25-year-old tweaker immediately dedicated his effort to Laxman.
Speaking to ToI from Bangalore, Ojha said: "I want to dedicate this haul to Laxman bhai. He has been an inspiration for all of us and I feel it is a small way of saying thanks to Laxman bhai for all the guidance and support he has given me over the years.
"He has been a pillar of strength not only to the Indian team but also for us at Hyderabad. He is always there to encourage and help the youngsters, which is a mark of his greatness. Even though I am sad that I will not be sharing the Indian dressing room with him anymore, I am glad that he will continue to play for Hyderabad," Ojha said.
"His presence in the Hyderabad team will do a lot of wonders to the confidence of the youngsters and I am sure that the players will be immensely benefitted by his experience and wisdom," the spinner added.
Ojha had badly wanted to get a five-wicket haul in the first Test at the RGIC Stadium here but had six wickets in the match (3/44 and 3/48). "I wanted to get a five-wicket haul in Hyderabad itself but was unable to do so. It would have been a great thing for me to have got those wickets on home turf and dedicate the same to Laxman bhai," he added.
