HYDERABAD: Congress senior leader and former Union minister Jairam Ramesh on Thursday said the matter pertaining to Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy's alleged audio clip and video tape was in the purview of the high command and a decision will be taken soon based on his reply.

He said: "We have served notices on him and we are waiting for his reply." Venkat Reddy was seen telling a group of Telugu people in the video that Munugode voters won't vote for Congress in November 3 bypolls.

In an earlier audio clip purportedly of Venkat Reddy, he was heard telling a party activist to campaign for his younger brother, BJP candidate K Raj Gopal Reddy. He said Congress will dethrone TRS from power in Telangana.
