Telangana seeks release of Urea quota

Union fertilizer minister Sadananda Gouda

on Monday to request him to release the quota of 10. 50 lakh tonnes of

Urea

for Telangana for this year.

The Union minister assured the state minister that by the end of July 1.30 lakh tonnes of Urea will be supplied to the state. He told Niranjan Reddy that chief minister KCR had called him for the required supply of Urea to the state.

The state minister apprised that because of water availability, the extent of land under cultivation has grown in the state.
