The two-kilometre long road from Chilukalagutta was packed with people waiting for the arrival of goddess Sammakka.
Tribal priests arrived with goddess Sammakka at 7:30 pm.

Mulugu district superintendent of police Sangramsingh G Patil opened fire indicating that tribal priests arrived with goddess. Mulugu district collector S Krishna Aditya welcomed the goddess.
Endowments minister A Indrakaran Reddy, panchayat raj minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Bhadrachalam MLA Podem Veeraiah were seen offering prayers.
