Telangana murder shock: Painter found dead at Puppalaguda; colleague missing, police launch manhunt
A painter, Roshan Hela, hailing from West Bengal, was discovered murdered within the labour colony of the Aparna Zenon high-rise project in Puppalaguda. Authorities have identified Ranjit Pandit, Hela's roommate and fellow painter, as the primary suspect in the case. Pandit has been missing since the discovery of the crime, prompting a police manhunt for his apprehension.

"Hela was stabbed in the throat with a sharp weapon," Narsingi inspector G Hari Krishna Reddy said. Police said that RO plant operator Sonu Kumar first noticed Hela lying in a pool of blood outside his room around 8am. Police have launched a manhunt for Pandit, a native of West Bengal.
