MANCHERIAL (ADILABAD): In a fresh bid aimed at dousing the anger of pro-Telangana activists, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrashekar Rao said the movement for separate Telangana would be intensified after March.
Addressing the party workers’ meeting at Mancherial in Adilabad district ton Sunday, KCR said the agitation for separate T-state is being delayed keeping in view of the students’ examinations.

“The movement would pick up pace in April in pursuit of separate T-state demand,” he said.
Commenting on chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s promise to provide one lakh jobs to unemployed youth, the TRS chief pooh-poohed the tall claims of Kiran. “He cannot solve the 104 employees’ problems and talks about providing one lakh jobs under Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu which is a farce,” he said.
KCR assured to regularise the services of all contract workers after the formation of separate Telangana state. He lambasted Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu for chanting dalit welfare mantra. He alleged that Naidu misused about Rs 4,000 crore earmarked for dalits during his rule. Earlier, 500 activists from TDP and various employees’ unions joined the TRS in the presence of KCR.
